Fall Senior Portraits at Lake Tapps
You are going to fall in love (pun intended) with Miss Samena and her Fall senior portraits at Lake Tapps! This Auburn Riverside senior was referred to me by her friend, and AHP Model Team member, Trinity, and I’m so glad we met! Check out next month’s blog post to see Trinity’s senior session too! I had so much fun getting to shoot at Samena’s lovely house on the lake. Editing after was like getting a second, little waterfront vacation for the day! Just looking at the photos, you almost feel like you are there!
Backyard Lake Session
What’s better than having Lake Tapps right in your backyard? Getting to take your senior portraits there too! Samena started the day by getting her hair and makeup done in the comfort of her room. A great way to be pampered and relax before all the excitement starts! Her mid-October session was awesome, even when the weather came and sprinkled a little. We made the best of it! We used some dark purple hydrangeas, the neighbor’s cool tennis court, and a treehouse from her childhood! Just one of the many perks of shooting at your home, or another location that you have memories of. It is so much fun and has a lot of meaning too.
Posing with Pups
Samena had the cutest dogs, one was named Alki! Of course, we had to get some great poses of them and her together. It can be a little difficult getting some pups to pose at first, but once you get their attention, it can make for the cutest shots! Samena was super comfortable in front of the camera, and we got a lot of fun shots on the property. From the cute swing to the tall green grasses, and that gorg water view! She even sat on the edge of the diving board overlooking the lake for a few shots! What a cool picture!
Cute Fall Fits
Fall is one of the most versatile seasons when it comes to dressing for your senior photos. There are so many awesome items you can wear! You can bare your legs and wear dresses and shorts, or you can go for a colder weather look and rock cute jackets, jeans, and sweaters. Miss Samena had a variety of both, and in some super awesome colors as well. So bright!! I loved her hot pink and bold red sweaters! Which looked great with the partially gloomy sky. It was a little bit cold, but her black mini-dress with yellow and white sunflowers was the perfect fit to show off her track star legs lakeside. And paired with her chunky black sandals, wow! It was another great day with an AH-mazing Senior!
