Curtis High Senior Photos

These Curtis High Senior Photos were so much fun and Miss Grace ticked all the boxes for the best Tacoma photoshoot locations! She rocked tons of different looks and each one fit the place perfectly. From urban casual to country chic, and even beachside babe, Grace stole the show! There might even have been some Disney ears involved! Keep reading to hear the story on those! 

Urban Opera Alley Portraits

Miss Grace started off her session with her urban look at Opera Alley, right down the street from Studio253. These 2-toned jeans have been so trendy this season and I love seeing how each girl styles them! Grace rocked her fit with a cute black crop top and tan corduroy jacket. My fav part of adding jackets or hoodies to the mix is that they make 1 outfit into 2, in just a couple of seconds! A great way to double your wardrobe, especially for upcoming fall weather! 

Disney Adventures at Wild Hearts

After our time Downtown, we headed to my fav PNW photo rental venue: Wild Hearts Farm!! I love the flowers the owner grows there, the different on-site locations (in particular the glass house!!), and the best part: no people in your photos!! Score. For a fee added to your session, seniors can come here and explore for their portraits too! Grace’s family is a big Disney family (love!), so while we were there, we incorporated her collection of Mickey ears into some photos!!! Adorable!! And such a fun way to connect your family memories to your senior portraits! I mean, who doesn’t love a Disney moment??

We Heart Our Lighting Assistants! 

Grace then wanted to end her session in the water at sunset, so to Chambers Bay we went!!! One of the aspects that sets our senior sessions apart from others, is the addition of a lighting assistant for each shoot. Lighting is essential all the time, but especially near the water, where glares and dark patches can occur. Lighting assistants can be friends or family of the senior too, we even had a couple of dads be their daughter’s assistants! So cute! The lighting assistant who comes along also helps with outfits, keeps hair looking good, and more!!! They are so important and always make sessions so fun too! AH! They are the best!
