Dark Fall Senior Portraits
Miss Alicia came down to Studio253 this past October for her dark fall, senior portraits. She brought her grandma with her (so cute!) and we all had a blast! Alicia is a member of the 2022 AHP Model Team, and has been such a fun part of the team (click here to see her in the Best of Fall 2022 snapshot)! She opted for an early October session so she could wear lots of layers to match her dark academia style, and I just love how these shots turned out!
Fall Studio Lighting
We started in the studio to grab that super yummy, natural light and clean, white background. Our big, open windows allow for the best light for photos, even when the weather is bad. Luckily we didn’t have to worry about that for Alicia’s shoot, and got great photos inside and out of the studio! The freshly painted studio created such a bold contrast with her dark features and outfits. We even got some cute shots of her sitting on our new, white, accent chairs, and of course against our flowy sheer curtains. Such a dreamy look!
Downtown Tacoma Locations
We then walked through the surrounding studio blocks to get just a little bit of that gorg fall color! We started off by hitting up Opera Alley, the nearby Spanish steps, and the Theatre District. This lovely young lady wants to pursue a career in acting, and she really gave us a performance in these shots! I just love the ones of her with the green lamp post, so classic and fun! We finished the day at a cool parking garage nearby to get some trendy shots on the roof. Alicia mastered the art of posing with walls and we got some AH-mazing shots with great textured backgrounds. I loved the dual-colored marbled building! Which background was your fav??
Dark Academia Fashion
Early October was the perfect time of year for Alicia to show off her dark academia style! She rocked lots of plaids, dark colors, and some awesome Doc Martens. The 90s vibes were strong with her crystal necklace, and corduroy jeans. She had some awesome accessories too, including a cute black bow that she paired with her fall-colored plaid dress. She was giving me serious modern Wednesday Adams vibes! So fun and so chic! And the best accessory of all: her GORGEOUS bright eyes!
