Tacoma High School BFF Portraits
I had the pleasure of photographing this AH-mazing group of girls for their Tacoma High School BFF portraits! Miss Hannah was on my Class of 2022 Model Team and I had the best time getting together with her and her friends for this fun photoshoot. For this shoot, she brought along some of her best friends and we spent the day in Downtown Tacoma getting a bunch of cute shots of the four of them together before they all head their separate ways!
Winter Photoshoot with Your BFFs
This BFF session was scheduled for the end of December, in the cold, windy, and rainy PNW winter conditions! Which doesn’t sound like the most fun. The girls and I did not let the weather stop us from having the best time though! Honestly, what could be more fun than a portrait session with your BFFs?? Rain or shine we’ll have a good time! For shoots like these, each girl takes her turn in front of the camera for some solo shots. But, the day is really all about the group! It’s a one-of-a-kind time in your life to celebrate a one-of-a-kind friendship with the people who always have your back.
Best Portrait Locations in Downtown Tacoma
We planned this BFF shoot at one of my favorite locations. Downtown Tacoma is one of the most popular spots in the Puget Sound area to get portraits taken and for good reason! From the historical buildings to the waterfront and the abundance of artwork, Tacoma has a lot to offer when it comes to finding a picturesque location to fit your portrait session! For the girls’ shoot, we focused on the skyline rooftop views. We were able to get a lot of shots with some bright colors in them to offset the grey and gloomy December sky. And all the girls wore cute, pastel-colored sweaters with jeans and sneakers to make sure their outfits matched and no one got too cold!
Making the Most of Senior Year
Friendships are fundamental throughout high school and beyond. These are the people who can get you through the toughest of times, while simultaneously sharing in your biggest laughs! It’s only fitting that something that special, your friendship, should get its own portrait session to celebrate. BFF sessions are also great to book for sisters, twins, cousins, or teammates! Really anyone in your life you feel close to and want to share this experience with. Portrait sessions are a reminder of how much you have been through together and a joy to look back on once you have experienced even more!
