Cherry Tree Pop-Up Shoots
For those of you mourning the end of summer, this post is for you. Our compilation of Cherry Tree Pop-Up Shoots is just the thing to have you reminiscing on the warmer days! Model teams 2022 and 2023 got together a few times this year and did some fabulous shoots in the flowers; it was so fun! Here is a look at those awesome shoots and even more awesome senior models!
AHP Flower Bug
It’s safe to say that I definitely caught the springtime flower/tree bug this year! I could not get enough of our springtime shoots! Luckily, the Model Team girls agreed! So we headed out of the city and went looking for the perfect spots. We found a ton of cherry trees with white and pink blossoms and took pictures to our hearts’ content. We even found a spot with some more brightly colored purple, yellow, and hot pink flower bushes too! So cute! The white fence in the background completed the rustic look and was the perfect accessory to pose with!
Springtime Light
When I was editing the photos from these shoots, I could not get over this light!! The light in Spring is just sooo yummy and shines on the girls and the flowers perfectly. Every photo looks iridescent! I LOVE all the colors of the flowers which show up so well on camera!!! One of my signature details for portraits is decorating the girls’ hair with petals from the various flowers at our photoshoot location. No matter the hair color, it just adds a gorgeous pop and looks AH-mazing!! Plus, there are never enough occasions to wear flowers in your hair! This shoot was the perfect time to let all the petals loose and WOW did the shots turn out great!
Model Team Pop-Ups
We now call these fun shoots for the model team: pop-ups!!! They are a great way for the girls to get comfortable behind the camera before their senior session. Just another perk of being on the team!! Besides lots of practice time in front of the camera, they also get to try out different poses, outfits from the AHP Style Closet, and tons of creative makeup ideas. They get advice from other senior girls their age, and bond over the stresses and joys of senior year. These model team pop-ups are the perfect time for the girls to bond and just have a blast! This time of year was extra special because it allowed girls from the class of 2022 and the class of 2023 to spend some time together!
