Wild Hearts Farm Summer Session | AHP Senior Photography

Wild Hearts Farm Summer Session

This Wild Hearts Farm summer session will have you marking your calendar for August senior portraits. The lovely Courtney from Curtis High School chose to have her Le Diva summer session at Wild Hearts Farm. She added on the stylist option to take her senior portrait session to the next level.

Add a Stylist to Your Senior Portraits

Courtney had her hair and makeup done by my pro hair and makeup artist before meeting me at the farm. Adding on a stylist to your senior portrait experience means you get the option of bringing along your hair and makeup artist to your session, so you can change up your hairstyle and lip color between each outfit. You’ll not only feel extra pampered, but you’ll also get a boost of confidence with each wardrobe change.

Switching up your hair and lip color is an easy way to give your senior portraits a ton of variety. Courtney opted for a cute half-up style with a fun hair scarf, but also wore her hair down in loose waves for some of her portraits. Her pro stylist made sure her hairstyle matched her outfit choice.

The Benefits of a Wild Hearts Farm Summer Session

Wild Hearts Farm is a private venue that is exclusively available to professional photographers. We get to take advantage of all the different spots within the venue, from the tree swing to the glasshouse and vintage truck. Every session here feels different, and I always love it when my seniors decide they want to do their portraits here. Courtney and I had so much fun exploring the grounds.

What to Wear for Your Summer Senior Portraits

A Le Diva session includes unlimited wardrobe changes, and Courtney took full advantage of that with the cutest outfits. For her more casual portraits, she opted for a black tank top and classic jeans. The hair scarf gave her cute ponytail a retro vibe, and I simply love that she hopped into the vintage truck for some of her portraits!

I always recommend that seniors bring along casual and dressy looks. This gives your portraits plenty of variety and shows different sides to your style. Courtney brought along two dresses for her session: a flowy, white dress and a fitted off-the-shoulder black dress. Both were so flattering on her! The flowy white dress was perfect for portraits in the glasshouse with a stunning chandelier, and the black dress was the right choice for her portraits on the swing.

Back for More

Courtney’s experience with AHP didn’t end with her Wild Hearts Farm summer session! This boss babe also scheduled cap and gown portraits with me in the spring. Cap and gown portraits are an ah-mazing way to celebrate your graduation (especially if your graduation looks different due to COVID).  Scheduling a professional portrait session for your graduation ensures you capture this exciting time in your life, and that you’ll have photos you can cherish for years to come. Plus, I simply love seeing my senior girls again for portraits after their initial session. I have so much fun getting to know them throughout the year and cheering them on.

Prints and Products

At AHP, we specialize in creating timeless portraits and we want to make sure you enjoy them for years to come. It’s why I offer premium prints and products. Courtney opted for a beautiful wall canvas and awesome 11×14 album. She also used her portraits for her graduation announcements, which are so fun to send out and receive in the mail. There are so many ways to use your senior portraits. And it is so important to not just let your photos sit on your computer or phone. They should be printed and displayed!

Getting to host Courtney and her family for a gallery viewing and delivering heirloom-quality products to them meant so much to me. I am so grateful to them for trusting me with Courtney’s session!
