Class of ‘24 Fall Shoot
It’s that time of year to throw on your favorite fall flannel and get ready for our Class of ‘24 Fall Shoot! The weather has turned chilly, the leaves have begun to fall, which meant it was time for the girls and me to head to Wild Hearts Farm. This year we broke up our shoot into 2 separate days, which meant double the Model Team fun! On both days, we succeeded in avoiding the rain, which is you live in Western Washington, you know is hard to escape! No matter the weather, we always make the best of our session time, but it’s nice to have that little bit of extra sunshine if we can get it to celebrate the beginning of fall!
Fall at Wild Hearts Farm
Our annual Fall portrait session at Wild Hearts Farm is something I look forward to all year long! It is so much fun bringing each of my teams hear and seeing how they make the space their own. It’s also a great time of year because Wild Hearts Farm is one of my favorite locations to shoot at! This PNW portrait venue offers so many picture-perfect backdrops and is a must-book spot if you want all that rustic farm charm without any mess. Summer or fall, Wild Hearts Farm has everything we need to have the best time all year long!
Senior Team Farm House Portraits
The venue offers 3 main locations for rent on their 5-acre property. This year, we focused our shoot on the white, wooden, farmhouse! With previous classes, we have done shoots with their rustic truck, on the cute tree swing, and tons of themed shoots with seniors. If you want to see those other fall shoots, check out the AHP Senior Blog (linked here!). During this shoot, the girls got creative with their playful poses. One of the moms even brought flowers and scarves to use as props. How cute and perfect for the fall theme!
Team Work Makes the Dream Work!
At the farm, we had time for both group shots and individual portraits. It’s so important that we get a variety of portrait styles, which allows the girls to feel comfortable in different settings. As we all know, posing with a group is a completely different skill than posing alone! During their year on the Model Team, each of our girls gets to go on their own journey. Despite this, they are never alone. They get a whole group of girls their age to support and cheer them on both during shoots and outside, as they take on real-life challenges. Our Class of 2024 Model Team has so much energy and they use it not just to take AH-mazing portraits, but also to lift each other up! I couldn’t be more proud of this group of seniors!
