Senior Portraits with Your Significant Other | AHP
Young love! Every year I schedule a day for the AHP Model Team girls to get senior portraits with their significant others. This way, they can get some snaps with their special someone. It’s an ah-mazing way to celebrate your high school relationship.
I love meeting the girls’ significant others and seeing how supportive they are of each other. One of the couples from the Class of 2020 Model Team even got married this summer, and I am so glad that I got to capture part of their love story.
The AHP Model Team
The “Someone Special” shoot is just one of the many perks of being on the AHP Model Team. I host a themed portrait session every month, giving the girls a chance to bond and capture different parts of their senior year. This includes seasonal photoshoots, like the beginning of fall or a day at the Christmas tree farm, but it can also be a just for fun shoot.

Downtown Tacoma Couples Portraits
I have an ah-mazing studio that is conveniently located in downtown Tacoma. For these fun senior portraits with significant others, we used the area around my studio. For variety, we walked around to different spots. I wanted each couple to have unique portraits. Tacoma is such an awesome city. While we were walking around, a friendly stranger gave us flowers to use in the photos! This was such a fun local addition to the portraits. You just never know what is going to happen at these outdoor portrait sessions.
What to Wear for Couple Portraits
These cute couples wore the best outfits for their portraits. You don’t have to wear outfits that match perfectly but selecting colors that complement each other is always a good idea. And choosing from the same color palette will give your couple portraits a cohesive look.
This year, my seniors were inspired by the changing seasons. Fall colors are ah-mazing for portraits, and I just love all the floral prints and neutral tones that the girls wore. The guys were relaxed in jeans, button-ups, t-shirts, and sneakers.
