College Senior Portraits for a WSU Graduate | AHP

College Senior Portraits for a WSU Graduate | AHP

Yes – you can and should take college senior portraits! This senior portrait session for WSU graduate Hillari was an awesome way to celebrate her college graduation. This WSU cougar brought her friend and sorority sister with her for a fun shoot in the spring. We captured some timeless portraits at Studio 253 and explored Opera Alley together.

Graduate Style

This boss babe brought along her cap and gown, which she wore over a lace black dress. A little black dress is the best graduation outfit for under your gown. It matches perfectly, and you’ll feel so dressed up. Plus, it’s a timeless look that you will love for years to come. Instead of heels, Hillari dressed up her look with shiny dress shoes. So fun! I am all about grads wearing what they love.

Hillari switched out of her dress, cap, and gown and into some comfy spirit wear and jeans for the rest of her session. I love it when my seniors show their school spirit. This is such a great way to showcase where you went to school. Hillari pulled out all the stops with a WSU sweatshirt and baseball hat.

Fun Props for College Senior Portraits

This boss babe worked hard for her degree and it was time to celebrate. We brought along so many props to bring Hillari’s session to life. This included confetti, balloons, a sorority flag, and champagne! She popped the bubbly while we set up the alley with bright confetti and class year balloons.

Props are a great way to personalize a portrait session, and I encourage seniors to bring their fave sports gear and other props that highlight their interests. Incorporating props into your portrait session tells part of the story of your high school or college experience.

Friends & Family

Hillari was referred to me by a friend. I am so grateful for previous clients that refer me to their friends and family members! I also did a senior portrait session with Hillari’s brother, and I cannot wait to do her younger sister’s senior portraits too. It means so much when I get to capture all of the big milestones for families. Such an awesome way to celebrate them and all that they have accomplished.
