Chambers Bay Senior Portrait Session
This Chambers Bay senior portrait session took place on a gorgeous sunny day at the end of August. I shoot senior portrait sessions year-round. As a pro photographer, you have to know how to shoot in all types of weather, especially hot sun! Sydney’s session was bright and summery, and I am so excited to share more.
Different Landscapes at Chambers Bay
This 2020 graduate attended Bellarmine Prep, a private school in Tacoma. She chose Chambers Bay for her senior session because there are different landscapes to explore, including grassy fields and concrete structures. This gave her portraits variety. We had so much fun wandering around the area.

Summer Senior Portraits
Sydney wore the best outfits for her summer senior session. She stayed cool in classic white shorts and fun patterned tops. And she brought along a fun blue sweatshirt to wear when we took portraits in the shade. Layers are so important in the PNW – even in the summer.
Sydney accessorized with cute white sandals and delicate jewelry. This boss babe even did her own hair and makeup. Sydney kept her nails natural and they looked so good. I always recommend a manicure before senior portraits, even if you decide not to wear any polish. Your hands will be in the portraits more than you may realize.
Family Sessions
I love having repeat clients and family referrals. Before I took Sydney’s senior portraits, I also did her brother’s senior portraits! And for years before these two were high school graduates, I took their family portraits. It is so much fun watching families grow and getting to capture those important milestones. Plus having the same photographer for years gives you consistent portraits to look back on.
