End of Summer Photoshoot | AHP Model Team

End of Summer Photoshoot | AHP Model Team

This end of summer photoshoot with the AHP Model Team has all the inspiration you need to pack a picnic and soak up the last of the season. The girls on the model team wanted a portrait session where they could get in the water, and one of the sets of twins on the team suggested their gorgeous property in Chehalis! It did not disappoint, and the girls and I had so much fun.

Senior Portraits in the Water

This private Chehalis property is right by the river, and the AHP Model Team could not wait to get their feet wet. All of the girls wore gorgeous dresses and didn’t mind wading into the water in them. I just love the boho vibes! The girls kicked off their shoes and played in the water barefoot while soaking up the rays of sunshine through the trees.

The PNW has so many ah-mazing spots with forests, rivers, and open meadows. We were so lucky to be able to experience all three for this end of summer photoshoot. The water may have been a little cold, but the girls did not mind!

End of Summer Picnic

It was such a beautiful summer day, so we packed a picnic! No picnic is complete without a cute picnic basket, fresh fruit, and a cozy picnic blanket. We set it up in the meadow by the river, and the girls sat around chatting and getting to know each other better.

For this themed photoshoot, some of the AHP Model Team girls brought their moms along. Your senior year is a sentimental time and including your parents in events throughout the year is a great way to make memories. The moms were able to spend time together and chat while we took portraits. And I just love seeing new friendships form on the AHP Model Team. These group sessions are a great time to bond.

Learning Photography Tricks

Having regular portrait sessions with the AHP Model Team means that they get to see how I work, and they can assist me with lighting! I bring my reflector to every session to capture each senior in the best light. The AHP Model Team girls get to learn how to hold the reflector and find the light. And they cheer each other on during individual portraits, which is such a confidence boost.

If you are in the class of 2022, keep your eye on my Instagram for details on how to apply to be on the AHP Model Team. I will begin accepting applications in November! And judging by how fast this summer flew by, November will be here before you know it.
