Wright Park Spring Senior Session

Wright Park Spring Senior Session

This gorgeous Wright Park spring senior session has all the blooming flowers and outfit inspiration you could want. Garo was lucky enough to win a spring session with me through an Instagram contest last year, so this is a throwback post! I am so glad our paths crossed. I love hosting giveaways and other surprises on my Instagram, so be sure you are following along.

Flowers in Bloom

Wright Park is one of the best spots for outdoor senior portraits in Tacoma. There are so many trees lining the pathways and in the spring there are tons of flowers and the cherry blossom trees are in full bloom. There is even a cute little gazebo that is perfect for senior portraits. The park is huge and there is so much to explore, so every session there is different.

Complementary Colors

Garo styled her senior session with the best spring outfits. She wore a basic white shirt under the cutest pink overalls. I just love that this trend has made a comeback! She wore a blush pink headwrap for a few of her portraits, too. This outfit looked perfect with a background of cherry blossoms and blooming white flowers.

She switched out the pink and white outfit for a chic blue and yellow outfit. Blue and yellow are complementary colors, so they look so good together! I love how Garo paired a cozy navy sweater with trendy wide-leg pants. We wandered around Wright Park together, matching Garo’s outfits to the various flowers that were blooming. She looked so gorgeous next to the bold flowers.

A Natural Look

Garo wore minimal jewelry for her senior portraits – just a delicate stud in her pierced nose! She also did her own hair and makeup. This is the perfect time to try out makeup tutorials at home and get an idea of what works for you and what looks you absolutely love. Don’t be afraid to try different color palettes and experiment with blush and eyeshadows. The soft pink blush that Garo chose for her portraits matched the spring flowers and highlighted her stunning features.

Garo is a natural model. She took to posing easily and has mastered the non-smiling model look. This boss babe belongs on a magazine cover! I love her soft smile, too. It was so much fun getting to know Garo throughout her senior portrait session, and I am so grateful I had the chance to capture her 2019 senior year.
