Boho Wild Hearts Farm Senior Portrait Session
This boho Wild Hearts Farm senior portrait session has a few of my favorite things. It’s a 2019 throwback, so it has rustic red barns, Iggy the Igloo, a cute trailer, and more! You’ll have to scroll through the photos to see how much fun we had at the farm.
A Little Bit Country
Ariana kicked off her shoes for her senior portraits and didn’t look back. I love that she was barefoot for most of her session! It matched the rustic vibes of the farm. Shoes aren’t always that important. You will see in tons of my work that I love bare feetsies! It makes the portraits feel summery and carefree. I want you to remember how you felt in your senior year of high school when you look back on your portraits. That includes feeling the grass underneath your toes and the wind in your hair. It’s why so many of my portraits are candid and incorporate movement into them, too.
We had so much fun exploring the venue. There are so many reasons Wild Hearts Farms is one of the best spots for Tacoma senior portraits. I always try to shoot a couple of hours before sunset for the best golden light. There is a reason this is called the magic hour. All of that yummy light spills over the trees, flowers, and grass and brings it all to life. Plus it adds an extra glow to every portrait. Magic!
This is a private venue that allows professional photographers to schedule sessions without worrying about crowds of people or other distractions. And they have so many different spots and backgrounds to choose from on-site. Since Ariana was on the 2019 AHP Model Rep Team, she got to experience a couple of things that aren’t at the farm anymore. This includes classic red barns and a cute igloo with clear panels. Every Wild Hearts Farm session is unique, but Ariana really made it her own!
Casual Style & Family Fun at Wild Hearts Farm
This cutie has long gorgeous hair and such a fun style. She kept it casual for most of her outdoor senior portraits. Think off-the-shoulder tops, high-waisted jeans, and Birkenstocks! Delicate jewelry completed her look. And I am so glad the jumpsuit trend isn’t going anywhere. Ariana put on a strapless jumpsuit that went perfectly with the gardens and vintage white truck.
Ariana is a gymnast and had no problem jumping up on the tree swings and pickup truck at Wild Hearts Farm. We had so much fun capturing candid portraits! Ariana also brought both her parents to her session. This meant we got to sneak a couple of family portraits in. This is an exciting and emotional time for parents, too. I loved seeing Ariana’s parents support her and cheer her on throughout her session. Family is so important.
Off to College
Ariana is now living in Texas, where she attends college! I know she is soaking up the sun and studying hard. I love keeping up with my seniors and seeing what they accomplish after high school. It’s so much fun and I am so grateful to Ariana for making me a part of her senior year.
