Model Team 2020 Portraits: New Year’s Eve
Happy New Year! It is hard to believe we are already a month into 2020. I have a feeling this year is going to fly by. For my current seniors, this is the year of their graduation. They are just a few months away from a fresh start, new goals, and exciting experiences.
To celebrate, I hosted a New Year’s Eve session at my Tacoma studio, Studio 253. More than half of the model team showed up for these AHP Model Team 2020 portraits and we had so much fun! I decorated the studio with a sparkling backdrop, New Year’s Eve balloons, and streamers. The girls wore trendy outfits with sparkle, glitter, and even velvet. I love seeing the new fashions every year and make sure to keep the AHP Style Closet up to date so the girls can borrow clothes and accessories.
Dance Party
You better believe the girls wore their dancing shoes! From strappy sandals to glitter heels, the girls were fully accessorized and ready to celebrate. We turned up the music in the studio and danced around. I love hosting themed shoots each month that encourage the girls to let their hair down, have fun, and forget about some of the stress and anxiety of senior year. With silver streamers and confetti balloons, the model team immediately got into a festive and playful spirit.
Studio 253
The studio is the best place for indoor portraits in Tacoma. We have the space to ourselves with tons of natural light, various backgrounds, and endless possibilities. It also keeps us out of the cold in winter months! The PNW weather can be a little unpredictable. And if it’s nice outside, the studio is in the heart of downtown Tacoma where there is plenty to explore.
New Year, New You
For the AHP model team, 2020 will be filled with all new things! I encourage the girls to set goals and start the new year (and new decade) off right. A new year can offer a fresh perspective. It is a great reminder to evaluate where you are in your life, what you want the upcoming year to include, and who you want to share it all with. These girls are headed off towards bright futures: college degrees, study abroad programs, internships, jobs, and more. I can’t wait to see what each of them accomplishes.
