These downtown Tacoma senior portraits will have you ready for summer! Miss Baelina has been my ah-mazing intern this year, but I have known her for a few years now. Like her older sister, Baelina is an AHP Model Team member. Her sister Andreá was on the class of 2020 team, and I was lucky enough to meet Baelina through her. Both girls have such wonderful personalities, and I am so glad I have gotten to know their family so well.
Model Confidence
Miss Baelina modeled for me when she was a sophomore, and I simply loved her style and movement. She’s a natural model, and I knew she would be the perfect addition to the Class of 2021 AHP Model Team. She helped me at many senior sessions this summer. She makes friends quickly and relates so well to those around her, which puts the other seniors at ease. I love how she boosts everyone’s confidence and makes them feel like they can do anything, just by being herself!
Big Dreams
This boss babe also understands the importance of hard work when pursuing your dreams. She wants to do what she loves, and she plans on pursuing music at Arizona State University after graduation. I just know we will see this talented girl on Broadway one day! She has a bright future ahead of her, and I cannot wait to see her accomplish her goals.
In addition to writing her own music, Baelina loves swimming, tennis, and dance. And she works at a local coffee stand! She balances it all so well, and her work ethic and determination will take her far in life.
Senior Portraits in Downtown Tacoma
Baelina wanted an urban senior portrait session with city vibes. We decided to explore downtown Tacoma together, and I am so excited to share the result! This glam girl kicked off her session with skinny jeans and a black crop top, with strappy black heels in hand. She wasn’t afraid to go barefoot on the rooftop. We had so much fun posing with the city buildings in the background.
Downtown Tacoma is so colorful. I simply love all the different backdrops, from the bright alleys to the vintage brick walls. We found so many ah-mazing spots for Baelina’s downtown senior portraits.
Floral Details
We balanced out the urban vibes of Baelina’s session with some gorgeous flowers we found blooming. Summer in the city means that there are pockets of lavender, daisies, and other gorgeous blooms lining the streets. Even the tall grasses are gorgeous in the background. Summer senior portraits are always full of color, thanks to the blooming gardens in Tacoma. And every session is different.
Urban Style for Senior Portraits
I simply love all of the outfits Baelina chose for her downtown Tacoma senior portraits. She chose the cutest flowy, off-the-shoulder blouse and a floppy hat for some of her portraits. The white hat matched her cute white sandals, and she looked like she fit right in with the cityscape.
Miss Baelina rocked the skinny jean and t-shirt look, which is always a classic choice for senior portraits. But she kicked things up a notch at the end of her session with a little black dress and high heels. I always recommend choosing a few casual looks and a few dressy looks for your senior portraits! This gives your portraits a ton of versatility.
