Barbie Dream Shoot
“Hey Ken, how was the Amanda Howse Barbie Dream Shoot?” Well Barbie, we are so glad you asked! With two full days of portraits scheduled, this over-the-top, pink palooza photoshoot was bigger and better than we even hoped for! We invited anyone in the AHP community to sign-up for our Barbie shoot, and oh my gosh did we get a great response! We had Model Team girls (past and present), non-model team girls, past clients from marketing portraits, and tons of friends too. How cool is that group?? Each one of these ladies rocked their shoot and I cannot wait to share the exclusive pics! Barbie would be so proud!
Movie of the Summer
If you’ve been on social media this past month, you’ve definitely noticed the one thing everyone is talking about: The Barbie Movie! And with good reason. From the glamorous cast to the AH-mazing costumes and dreamy set, Barbie is the fun summery film we were all waiting for! And if you were one of the lucky viewers who got their hands on an early release ticket, we are so jealous! But for everyone else who had to wait, our advice: see it now! The movie was released today, July 21st, and we won’t be upset if you stop reading this post now to go and buy your tickets ASAP! We will be right here waiting when you get back. Naturally, we could not let this opportunity pass us by without planning an equally dreamy photoshoot with all of our AHP community!
Studio253 Pink Collab
This shoot was such a fun collab and I’m already on the hunt for what we should do next! After the overwhelmingly awesome support from our social media calls, we invited each person who was able to snag a spot to our Downtown Tacoma studio. They got to come and dress up in some of our brand new AHP Style Closet items and get photographed on our not one, but two Barbie-themed sets. We had a Barbie box, Skipper, and of course our normal variety of brightly colored backdrops. This group of ladies was a blast to photograph in all their different styles! And I think the outfits speak for themselves! I’m still dreaming of pink!
Come on Barbie, Let’s Go to the AHP Party
If there is one thing 2023 Barbie is here for, it’s making sure everyone is included this time around! And we are pumped to support that message! We wanted to make sure we had every style of Barbie at our shoot. From Hippie Barbie to Western, retro, ’80s, ’90s, street Barbie, Skipper, Chelsea, and more! Each girl could dress in the theme that felt the most like them which is what made this shoot so fun! If you were one of the Barbies that couldn’t get their hands on one of our time slots before they sold out, head to the bottom of the page. We might just open up our Studio again for a second round of photos. We’d love to get you on the list!
