Valentine’s Love Shoot 2023

The Model Team and I got to celebrate my favorite February holiday (besides my birthday of course!) in style with our Valentine’s love shoot! We all have someone in our lives that make each day a little bit better. And that is something worth celebrating! Whether it is our best friend, pet, family member, or significant other, I am a big believer in showing off that love! Which is why this shoot is one of my must-haves to share with the girls each year! There is just so much to love about this team of girls, it would be a shame not to celebrate!

L-O-V-E Themed Shoot

With each new year, along with the brand new shoots, there is a collection of sessions I just have to schedule again. The Valentine’s Day shoot is one of them! No two sessions are the same from year to year. We switch props, try new techniques, and most importantly, celebrate with new people! But the theme remains the same. After all, how can you improve on L-O-V-E? This year, we added some cute heart-shaped balloons and a cheeky “Kissing booth” sign. The girls had so much fun with this! And so did I! Special Someone Studio Session

One of the reasons I love this shoot so much (no pun intended) is because of all the new faces it brings into the Studio! Each team girl is able to invite whomever she wants to our Valentine’s session and get some super cute portraits together! Some girls brought their boyfriends, others their friends. We even had cats and dogs in attendance! I know just how important fur babies are, so we love to include them in the fun whenever we can. My girls are simply the best, and I love that they feel comfortable enough to share the people they love with the group. These pictures always turn out so adorable, and are an absolute treat to share with the girls! What better way to spend the day than capturing all this love??

Celebrating in Your Own Way

I know there will be plenty of people who aren’t big fans of Valentine’s Day. And for some really good reasons! But there are also so many good reasons why Valentine’s Day should be celebrated too! While there is a ton of pressure to make this day over the top (I’m talking to you giant teddy bear companies!), most of the time, it is the little things that make this day, and all days, the most special. This is why celebrating (or not celebrating) in your own way is so important! Just like everything else, your love is unique. So you get to decide how you show it off! Our Valentine’s shoot was all about celebrating and creating memories with the people we love in ways that we love! And while it might not be for everyone, I know one Model Team that had a blast!
