Summer at Wild Hearts Farm
Miss Maddy couldn’t have picked a better season or location for her senior portraits than summer at Wild Hearts Farm! This girlie rocked her late August session and didn’t let the heat slow her down! She was all smiles for this AH-mazing day and I had so much fun capturing all her cute outfits and poses. What a cutie! I can’t wait for you to see how these turned out!
PNW Senior Portrait Venue
For Maddy’s session, we head out to Wild Hearts Farm. I love this PNW venue for so many reasons. Wild Hearts Farm is beautifully well kept by the owners and never disappoints. No matter what season, the farm is so versatile! (You can peek here at our past model team shoot for a look at what fall on the farm is like!) Maddy knew exactly what she wanted for her senior session, so we rented this location for the entirety of her shoot. We had an absolute blast exploring all the different areas on the property, including the rustic truck, swing, and cute little farmhouse. Whatever the spot, Maddy knew exactly how to pose to show it off!
Summer Style Closet
One of the best parts of summer sessions is that you can wear all the sun dresses, tank tops, and shorts that you want without fear of getting chilly during the shoot! If you are a heat bug, this is the best time. Maddy had a variety of cute summer fits that she paired perfectly with each location on the farm. She borrowed a few dresses from the AHP Style Closet – Love– and then switched up her look to jeans and flannels to infuse a little bit of that fall feeling. And her bright, gorgeous smile was the perfect accessory to complete all her cute, country-chic fits. AH-mazing!
Late August Session
Her late August session was slightly overcast this day, but still gorg!! The flowers were popping all over and that beautiful, tall, dried grass just added such a fun country feel. Unruly weather is always a worry when it comes to scheduling our outdoor senior sessions, but the payout is well worth the worry! Pro-Tip: if you are looking to avoid the heat or even the rainy season, make sure to book early (in the spring of junior year). While none of us can control the weather, you’re more likely to have the best chance at securing your perfect weather booking then. And don’t forget to tell your friends about this tip too!!!
