Mid-September Senior Session
There is something about a mid-September senior session that brings about nostalgia. Whether it’s the warm summer light, the excitement for fall equinox and PSLs, or even the start of senior year. Whatever it may be, Miss Abbie’s portraits seemed to encompass it all. She had one of the BEST sessions ever, and all I can say is Book. Your. September. Portraits!! Seriously. It’s such a good time of year and makes for the best pictures!!
Opera Alley and Dunes Park
We kicked Miss Abbie’s session off at Opera Alley, right around the block from Studio253. She started off wearing cute, casual fits with cropped graphic tees and tank tops that perfectly fit the colorful downtown atmosphere. We had her pose with the brightly painted walls, brick building exteriors, and of course the awesome wall art! Once we got all the shots we wanted there, we went to the new Dunes Park! And she crushed it with some awesome looks there too! I just love the shots of her in the tall dried grass that seems to go on forever. And with that adorable pink hat too!
Unlimited Outfit Changes
Not only is the light to die for in September, but it is also the perfect season for a mid-weather wardrobe! That means double the clothing options, and no more deciding between sun dresses or cozy sweaters. September has it all! And you can be as versatile as you want with an AHP session. That means unlimited outfits! I think Miss Abbie rocked about 8 different ones! Between fall sweaters, Free People items, boots, dresses, and hats, oh my!! I think she hit every style and got to wear all her fav fits for this shoot! And you can too! Whether it is 2 outfits or 10, we want your senior portrait experience to be exactly as you want it!
Baby Blue Cotton Candy Skies
Before it got dark, we headed down to Chambers Bay to end the evening in the water! Abbie’s session was a perfect mid-September day and the skies were cotton candy, baby blue (at least for most of the day)!! When we got to the water, the weather decided to darken for a classic PNW gloomy sky. Abbie went along with the moody feel that the clouds provided and killed it!! One of the best parts about being a WA photographer is that rain or shine, the photos look AH-mazing! And Abbie was happy to go along for the ride! I just love my seniors!! They are simply the best!
