Senior Guy Portraits in Lakewood
If you follow me on social media or my blog, you will know it’s not often I get the chance to showcase senior guy portraits in Lakewood! When I do, it is always through referrals (which I love, btw) or friends. This was the case with Jonas! He is a friend of a previous client of mine, and we had so much fun getting his Ft. Stilly photos taken this past fall! It’s fitting that Jonas plays tennis because he absolutely aced this shoot!
Fort Steilacoom Senior Portraits
Fort Steilacoom is perfect for fall senior portraits, especially for guys! There are so many different places to “pose” and so many fun backgrounds. This can take a lot of the worry away for guys about not knowing what to do in front of the camera. It’s always my goal to make sure each senior session is fun and relaxing! We did Jonas’ Ft. Stilly session on a warm, sunny day at the end of October. He and I explored by the water for some cool gravel/beachy shots and of course the classic red Ft. Stilly silos. The autumn light was just to die for and worked great with this Puyallup senior’s yellow-hued fits!
Fall Fashion For Guys
While picking an outfit might not be at the top of the list for all our senior guys, it can still be a fun time. We want you to pick outfits that speak to your style and what you like. It can also be a great time to show off some of your fav school gear (college and high school). The AHP Por Le Mees (For The Guys) Session includes 2-3 outfit changes for each of our senior guys. Jonas had a great casual combination look with an open, fall flannel paired with some black ripped jeans and white vans. For a slightly more formal look, he switched to slacks and a striped button-up which looked so good with the fall colors in the background! Pro-tip: Make sure your shirts (even your undershirts) are ironed and free from wrinkles for your senior session.

Choosing the right senior photographer can seem daunting, but I am here to make the process easier!
