October Senior Portraits in Tacoma
These October senior portraits in Tacoma are simply awesome! Miss Piper had all the best 90s styles for her fall session, and we had so much fun wandering around the city. This senior is genuine and kindhearted, and I loved getting to know her during her senior year.
Indoor Senior Portraits at Studio 253
Seniors can add indoor studio portraits to any senior session. I have an ah-mazing studio in Tacoma near Opera Alley. I love decorating the studio and making sure I have a variety of backdrops for each portrait session.
Piper and I started her Tacoma session at the studio. She looked stunning with glam hair and makeup. She loved the Tezza wall, which includes a series of prints with pink tones. We also have a cute floral backdrop in the studio. The variety of Studio 253 makes every senior session unique, and I am always updating the space to match new trends. Another fun part of Studio 253 is the AHP Style Closet.
The AHP Style Closet
Each season, I make sure the AHP Style Closet at Studio 253 is filled with all the latest trends. Past seniors often donate outfits to the Style Closet, and I shop at local boutiques and popular stores to add to it. The AHP Style Closet is stocked with dresses, jackets, shoes, jewelry, hats, and other accessories. I love helping seniors style outfits for their portrait sessions.
Piper accessorized for her senior portraits using trendy items from the AHP Style Closet. She borrowed retro pink sunglasses and the cutest leopard print jacket. The Style Closet is an awesome way to try out different trends without having to purchase all new items for your senior portraits.
Outfit Inspiration for Tacoma Senior Portraits
This senior loves thrift shopping, and she has a vintage style that is so fun. She chose a great mix of wardrobe pieces for her downtown portraits. For her studio portraits, she opted for casual looks, with cute Nikes with beads on the laces, jeans, and different tops. Layered bracelets and a delicate necklace completed her look.
Piper opted for cute printed dresses and sandals for adventuring throughout the city, and a purple bucket hat kept the sun out of her eyes. We explored Opera Alley and the new McMenamins by the Spanish Steps for this session. There is so much to see in downtown Tacoma, and Piper’s portraits highlighted some of my favorite spots. We admired the gorgeous murals, found beautiful architecture, and made the most of our day downtown.
Being Yourself for Senior Portraits
Miss Piper stayed true to her style for her senior portraits. I want each senior to feel completely comfortable during their session and choose things that they like! Each VIP Senior Experience is catered to the senior so that their portraits match their interests and capture their personality. Piper loves painting, playing the ukulele, and reading. I loved learning about all of her interests.
Piper is inspired by her mom, who is strong and optimistic. This senior not only looks up to her mom but also has a close relationship with her sister. I love seeing how confident Piper is as a result of these empowering relationships. She’s compassionate and strives to make a difference in her community by working with kids. Piper hopes to study law in order to help more people. I am always so inspired to hear what my seniors plan for the future, and I can’t wait to see all that this boss babe accomplishes!
