Class of 2022 AHP Model Team
It was a perfect sunny day on the first of June for the Class of 2022 AHP Model Team to get together! This first official shoot for these upcoming seniors was so much fun. We spent over three hours outside, taking photos, getting to know each other, and celebrating the start to the summer before their senior year.
The AHP Model Team
The AHP Model Team is an ah-mazing experience for high school seniors! Each year, I accept applications from upcoming seniors in the Seattle-Tacoma area. I love meeting these girls and learning more about them. The team includes girls from different schools who would not get the chance to meet otherwise.
I host monthly photoshoots for the Model Team girls, so their senior year is well documented! This gives the girls a chance to have fun and form friendships before they head off to the next stage in their lives. It also provides them with a ton of experience getting comfortable in front of the camera before their individual senior portrait sessions.
Positive Encouragement and Building Confidence
At these Model Team shoots, the girls learn about how to pose and feel confident in front of the camera. I simply love how encouraging the girls are of each other at these sessions. There is so much positivity and kindness. I am all about empowering these young women and making them feel their best. It’s so awesome to be able to create an environment for them where their natural beauty is celebrated.
These girls had a blast at their first shoot. They danced through the lupine fields and laughed as they taught each other how to twerk. And when they weren’t in front of the camera, they happily sat in the field and got to know each other better.
Summer Outfits for the Model Team
The Class of 2022 girls wore all their summer looks for this fun introductory photoshoot! Cute floral print dresses are on-trend, and the girls styled theirs with floppy hats, white sneakers, and layered jewelry. Crop tops and skirts also made an appearance, and I simply love how each girl showed off her individual style. From classic to boho, the girls looked gorgeous in the lupine fields!
You may also notice their ah-mazing manicures! I always recommend doing your nails before a portrait session. So many poses show off your hands and having a fresh set of “claws” can give you an extra boost of confidence. Whether you go for bold colors or neutral tones, it will make a difference to have your nails done.
