Cherry Blossom Portraits | AHP Model Team
One of my favorite parts of spring in the PNW is the cherry blossoms! I am so grateful to the AHP Model Teams, both the Class of 2021 and Class of 2022, for taking part in these cherry blossom portraits with me. We did two different shoots with both classes and it was so fun.
Portraits with Spring Sunlight
For the first photoshoot, we found gorgeous white fluffy trees on the side of the road. I am always scouting out new locations for photoshoots and senior portraits. This place was just perfect. We had yummy sunset light (even though it was freezing!) and the girls had so much fun getting to know each other. They wore cute layers, with distressed jeans and delicate jewelry.
I love hosting these seasonal bonus shoots. It not only gives me a chance to get to know the girls better and spend more time with them, but it also gives them ah-mazing memories of their senior year! These cherry blossom portraits were also a chance for the upcoming AHP Model Team to learn from the graduating seniors.
Passing on Traditions
The Class of 2021 Model Team girls showed the Class of 2022 girls how to strike a pose and “walk the line.” We even climbed ladders to get photos in the trees. I am so grateful to these girls for trusting me and trying new ideas out during these Model Team shoots. It’s so bittersweet knowing this was one of my last shoots with the Class of 2021. But I can’t wait to spend more time with the Class of 2022 and share all of my favorite traditions with them, too. We may even make some new ones – stay tuned!
Sunny Cherry Blossom Portraits in Kent
The second photoshoot was on a warm, sunny day at a park in Kent. We found a beautiful white cherry tree and flowers in the grass. The girls dressed for the weather in tank tops, flowy blouses, shorts, and sunglasses. A few of the girls rocked classic white sneakers!
The Class of 2022 girls tried out the tips they learned from this year’s Model Team and they did an awesome job! I am so excited to plan more shoots this summer for the Class of 2022.
