Fort Steilacoom BFF Portrait Sessions | AHP Model Team
Friendships are so important for high school seniors, and I love celebrating these girls and their besties with Fort Steilacoom BFF portrait sessions every summer. This is one of the perks for the AHP Model Team and we have so much fun. Each girl is encouraged to bring a friend with them to Ft. Stilly for portraits together. This is an ah-mazing way to celebrate your high school friendships before you head off to college.
PNW Portraits at Fort Steilacoom
Fort Steilacoom is one of the best spots for outdoor summer portrait sessions. The tall, dry grass fields meet the forest for a look that is so PNW! And the way the sunlight peeks through the trees throughout the afternoon is just so dreamy. We choose to do these BFF sessions in the summer because everyone is having fun and feeling relaxed. It’s a great way to spend time with friends before school starts back up.
Casual Summer Style
The weather gets warm in July and August here, so the girls put on their best summer outfits. It is super fun to see what outfits and accessories are trending every year. Jean shorts never go out of style, and the girls often pair them with striped tanks, layered lace bralettes, and floral kimonos. Anything to stay cool! Rompers and sundresses are also fun to wear for portrait sessions. And we can’t forget about the guys! There are so many ways for them to have fun with summer fashion too, from printed pants to colorful button-ups and sunglasses.
Lasting Friendships
The AHP Model Team has so much fun together, and I love seeing them form lasting friendships with each other. And the more the merrier! Bringing their BFFs to these sessions just expands their friend group and gives the girls a chance to get to know people they wouldn’t meet otherwise.
These BFF sessions also give everyone a chance to get to know me! I have so much fun as a senior photographer, and I am so grateful that these girls refer me to their friends for senior portraits.
