AHP Sports & Extracurricular Portraits in Tacoma
I love supporting my AHP Model Team girls throughout their senior year. There are so many events to celebrate, and I try to attend at least one event for each senior. This means I get to take sports and extracurricular portraits in Tacoma and the surrounding areas. These events include dance performances, parades, cheer competitions, and sports games. It gives me a chance to capture them in their element, doing their thing! It is so much fun encouraging these girls to pursue their passions.
This year looked a little different due to COVID-19, and I am so sad to have missed spring sporting events and senior nights. These girls have worked so hard throughout the last four years, and their accomplishments deserve to be celebrated!
Supporting Young Women
Being a senior photographer means a huge part of my job is supporting young women. I am so passionate about being an uplifting photographer that helps seniors find their confidence before heading off to college and whatever else comes next. I see firsthand how much time and effort these girls put into their senior years, and I love being there to celebrate with them.
Bright Futures Ahead
Every senior is unique. It is so fun learning about all the girls on my model team each year and getting to know what drives them. From dance and cheer to softball and water polo, these girls are so dedicated. Some of them continue their extracurriculars and athletic careers in college! It is so exciting when a senior signs on to play college sports.
What is even more fun is getting updates from these girls after they have graduated. Not only are these girls motivated, but they are also enthusiastic about everything they participate in.

Class of 2022
It’s never too early to start planning for your senior year! I will be accepting applications for the 2022 AHP Model Team in November. Stay tuned when school starts in the fall. I love giving juniors something to look forward to.

Water Polo
The Rogers High School Rams are an incredible water polo team. These girls are so focused in the water! I love watching them work together and cheer each other on. I made sure to capture candid shots as well as team portraits for the girls.
Softball Portraits
Stadium High School is one of my favorite spots for portraits (10 Things I Hate About You, anyone? Such a good movie!). I did posed portraits for the girls in Tacoma. I just love the high school in the background of these fun team portraits.
I also did portraits at a Bonney Lake High School softball game. Former AHP Model Team member Brooke now plays softball for UW! I am so glad she has these candid portraits to look back on from her high school days.
Another fun part of sports team portraits is that I can create posters for the girls from photos I have taken that show their team spirit!
Daffodil Princesses
The Daffodil Parade is an ah-mazing Puyallup tradition! There is so much history to it, and the Daffodil Princesses are recognized as important members of the community. These girls put in hundreds of volunteer hours,
The Parade includes a crowning at Pioneer Park Pavilion in Puyallup – such fun!
Cheer Portraits
I have so much fun taking cheer portraits. These girls just shine in their uniforms. We take individual portraits and squad portraits. You bet we can’t leave out the pom-poms! Recently, I have taken cheer portraits at Auburn Riverside High School and Tahoma High in Maple Valley.
And when React Elite Cheer debuted their new cheerleading uniforms, they chose me for their updated portraits! The “Wonder Woman” inspired design for the uniforms was ah-mazing and these boss babes totally rocked their new look!
Dance Performances
I have also taken portraits for Elite Dance in Puyallup. I just love how much movement there is in these portraits. The girls are so talented and I think their passion for dance just shines through.
