Gig Harbor Senior Portrait Session

This Gig Harbor senior portrait session was the perfect way to end summer! Emma and I went to a secret beach in Gig Harbor for her shoot and it did not disappoint. I love being by the water for senior portraits. Emma is a varsity cheerleader and her positivity is contagious. We had so much fun exploring the beach together.

Emma looked awesome in all of her outfits. She has a retro style and can’t live without a classic t-shirt and jeans. But she wasn’t afraid to step outside of her comfort zone and try on a few fun outfits for portraits around the Museum of Glass! She even borrowed a hat from the AHP Style Closet and it looked so cute.

Labor Day Weekend

The weather was perfect for Emma’s senior portraits. It was Labor Day Weekend, right before school started. The sun came out and gave us that beautiful fall light. Emma grew up on the East Coast and she and her mom have the best accents!

I am so glad Emma brought her mom along to her senior session. She is Emma’s role model and it is easy to see why. Her mom was the sweetest. She cheered Emma on and gave her so much support. She even convinced Emma to wear the super cute hat from the AHP Style Closet.

Emma’s mom let her find her own senior photographer. This was super important to Emma since she dabbles in photography. She picked me out of all the other senior photographers out there based on my style, which is such a compliment! Emma’s mom is also a huge part of why Emma wants to be a teacher. I love how much she supports all of Emma’s interests.

A Future Teacher

Emma has the brightest future ahead of her! Teaching is her passion, and she has already found so many amazing ways to work in education. She works at the YMCA in the children’s area, taking care of young kids. She also volunteers with her church’s Sunday School and Vacation Bible School programs. She is so positive and encouraging, I can see why the kids love her.

This boss babe is planning on attending Appalachian State to study elementary education, and I couldn’t be more excited for her.
