Owen Beach Senior Portraits in Point Defiance
Alexis found me on Instagram and was in Washington to visit her aunt over the summer, so we scheduled her senior portraits! She goes to school in Alaska, how cool is that?? I am so glad she found me and asked me to capture her Owen Beach senior portraits in Point Defiance! We had such a fun session! Spending the day with Alexis was an adventure and I loved showing her around the city.
From Studio 253 to the Beach
We took a couple of gorgeous shots in the studio before heading down to Owen Beach and Point Defiance! I love how convenient it is having a studio in the heart of Tacoma. Alexis wore a classic white t-shirt paired with Converse for her studio portraits – so cute! She brought along a couple of sundresses and a jeans jacket. The perfect combination for summer beach portraits! The layers allowed her to switch up her look throughout her session.
Add a Stylist
I love offering professional hair and makeup with every senior session! Alexis is an athletic basketball player, but she had so much fun getting all glammed up for her portraits. She even opted for my new “add a stylist” option, where your HMUA comes along to your session and changes your hairstyle and lip color between outfits! This can totally change up your look and is so fun! I love how Kara worked with Alexis to complement her outfits with glam hair and makeup. Alexis has gorgeous hair! From pretty curls to a half-up top knot, Kara styled Alexis’s hair to make sure she looked and felt her best.
The AHP Style Closet
Speaking of style – Alexis borrowed sunglasses and a variety of hats from the AHP Style Closet! They were the perfect match for her Abercrombie and American Eagle outfits. I love having a range of accessories, outfits, and fun add-ons in the SC for my seniors. Jewelry and accessories can add an extra wow factor to your outfit. And not every senior has a closet full of trendy clothes and accessories! You also shouldn’t feel like you need to go out and buy all new outfits just for your senior portraits.
