Cieara was one of my ah-mazing AHP Senior Rep Team Members for 2019!! She was among the first to sign up and I am so glad she did! We had the best summer senior portrait session in late August in the late afternoon. Point Defiance Rose Garden and Owen Beach are two of the best spots near Tacoma for a summer senior portraits! I am all about yummy light, so we scheduled her session for the prime magic hour!! That golden light is perfect in Tacoma about two hours before sunset!
Tacoma Summer Senior Portraits
Summer here is soo gorgeous and perfect for senior portraits! Owen Beach is such a cute spot for senior portraits on the beach. Cieara lived in Hawaii when she was little (like me!) and finds herself drawn to the water. So of course she wanted to get in the water during her photo session! That’s part of the reason I always come equipped with blankets and towels – your senior session should be about what you want! And a lot of the time that means an adventure on the beach or through the forest! Be sure to bring your fav comfy shoes to your session (like Birkenstocks or flip flops!) so you can walk comfortably to spots in between shooting.
Beachy Outfit Inspo
Cieara’s hair, makeup and outfit choices are the best inspo for beachy summer portraits!! Cieara wanted her freckles to shine through and our professional hair and makeup artist made it happen!! I love that the makeup just emphasized her gorgeous features and rockin highlights!! Her favorite color is blue, so of course the color of her super cute nails (aka claws!!) and toes matched! Her awesome outfits were all found by thrifting! She love pineapples and even found the most ah-mazing printed pineapple dress! So cute!!
Helping Others
I am so excited for Cieara as she heads off to Eastern Washington University in the fall to pursue a medical career! She is passionate about helping others and isn’t afraid to put herself out there. She has an amazing, caring mom as her role model and I know she is going to do amazing things. You go, girl!
