Mount Rainier Senior Portraits

Is there anything more iconic for senior portraits than a view of Mount Rainier? Megan and I had so much fun planning her summer senior portrait session, and we found the best views. Her Mount Rainier senior portraits show off the gorgeous area near Lake Tapps. And we got to explore Point Defiance, too.

Getting to Know Megan

I met this AH-mazing young lady through her older sister, Shelby, who was on the AHP Model Team last year. (You can view Shelby’s senior portraits on the blog here!) Miss Megan has been my lighting assistant this year, and she is such a wonderful person to be around. I loved having her in the spotlight for her senior portrait session.

This sweet senior loves helping people and being there for others. She looks up to her mom, who is caring and helpful and has overcome challenges. Megan loves caring for animals, too, and hopes to attend Pierce College for its great veterinary program. I can’t wait to see what she accomplishes next!

Summer Senior Portrait Inspiration

It was an absolutely gorgeous day for Miss Megan’s session. We started the day in the Point Defiance Rose Garden, and Megan rocked a floral print skirt and white crop top. Her glam makeup highlighted her natural features, and she wore her hair down in soft curls.

Megan’s senior portrait session had a rustic vibe, and she brought along her cowboy hat and boots. They looked perfect with a little white sundress, and Megan and I walked the trails at the park. The sun was shining and all the flowers were in bloom!

Lake Tapps Senior Portraits with Mount Rainier Views

For her senior portraits, Megan and I found a secret location in Lake Tapps! This fun spot had rustic white fencing, clear views of the mountain, and a surprise guest. A sweet cow walked right up to the fence line and greeted Megan!

We took photos on the quiet country roads, in the open fields, and along the fencing. For these rustic portraits, Megan wore distressed denim, a plaid button-up, and a black crop top.
