AZ Workshop 2024
With AZ Workshop 2024 in the books, it is time to share with you all the highs, the lows, and the best of the best! Every year, I book myself an educational photography workshop in the sunny state of Arizona to brush up on my technical skills, hear about the latest trends, and meet tons of fun people. You have likely seen my posts about it on the AHP social media pages, but if you want a closer look at what the 2024 convention had in store, you can check it all out below!
Lessons in Photography
One of the driving factors behind continuing my education is you. Yes, you! The AHP community and all my one-of-a-kind clients are always on my mind and at the forefront of my decisions. When you sign up for a photography session with me, I want to make sure I am at my best. This means keeping my skills sharp. During my workshops, I get to visually and physically explore new locations, find the best lighting, and practice bringing the most out of our models. These skills transfer directly to my work in Studio253, with the seniors, and all the businesses I team up with.
A Community of Photog Boss Babes
This annual Arizona workshop is great for so many reasons and I look forward to it all year long! When January rolls around, it’s finally time for my sunny getaway. Not only is it an opportunity to continue my education and push myself further as a business owner, but it is the perfect chance to introduce myself to new people. This year, I got to meet other Boss Babe CEOs/ Photographers from Nevada, Colorado, Chicago, Connecticut, WA state, and more! Although we can do so much online, there is nothing quite like building connections face-to-face (or should I say lens-to-lens?). Especially as a social butterfly, this part of the experience is something I’ll never get tired of!
AHP Senior Team Reunion
Now that I’ve got the AZ rundown out of the way, it’s time to share with you the best part. This year, I got to reunite with three of my former team girls!! That’s right, three! Trinity, Baelina, and Lexie all live in Arizona for college so I had to get in touch with them. I asked the girls to come and model with me for a few exclusive sessions. We did two days of shoots. Our first took place on the side of the road right when we first arrived in Arizona. Wild! The location was just so cool that we didn’t want to waste one second! With them by my side, it was triple the fun and I cannot wait for next year’s workshop already!
