What a Senior Session with Me is Like
Senior portraits are such an important part of your last year of high school! This is such a unique time in your life. Senior portrait sessions celebrate this awesome milestone: you’re about to graduate from high school and head off into the world! My goal is to perfectly capture who you are and what you love. If you’re wondering what a senior session with me is like, I am here to give you all the details!
Booking Your Session
Once you reach out, we book your session and decide on a date! I want you to know how grateful I am that you chose me to capture your senior portrait session. We schedule a fashion consultation to go over your wardrobe and accessories, as well as hair & makeup looks and locations for your session! I also have the AHP Style Closet available for you to borrow from! This closet has all the latest trends, accessories, and fun fashion items like fur jackets and hats.
The Day of Your Session
When the day of your senior session arrives, it is time to get pampered! Every AHP senior portrait session includes professional hair & makeup with one of our pro HMUAs. This takes place either in Studio 253 in Tacoma, where I have a glam hair and makeup room, or in the comfort of your home.
Then we meet at your first location, and the fun begins! Wondering how long a senior portrait session lasts? My shoots are typically about 2 hours long. If you select the Le Diva package, this comes with a lighting assistant and poser extraordinaire. We spend your session laughing, posing, dancing, walking a line, doing model faces, and overall just having fun while creating awesome portraits. I do everything I can to make you feel comfortable and confident so your personality shows through!
Along for the Ride
Every senior session includes a couple of outfit changes. I have an amazing wagon that comes along for the ride, filled with all of your necessities! I also carry an awesome pop-up changing tent so you can change anywhere. This is perfect for outdoor senior portrait sessions! And if you don’t want to change up your whole outfit, I come fully prepared with a Caboodle full of earrings and accessories, hats, and blankets for you to use during your session.
