Studio Senior Portraits in Tacoma
Miss Daizy wanted studio senior portraits in Tacoma that would make her feel confident. She rocked this Studio 253 session, and I am so excited to share a few of my favorites! We started and ended the day at the studio, with a little adventure in between. Daizy is an AHP Class of 2022 Model Team girl and having her on the team has been so much fun. She’s social, funny, and genuine. I love seeing her connect with the other model team members.
Tacoma Senior Portraits
Studio 253 is one of the best spots for indoor senior portraits in Tacoma. I keep the studio up to date with a trendy AHP Style Closet (which my seniors can borrow clothes from!), fun backdrops, and different furniture pieces. Daizy rocked her portraits in front of the Tezza Collage wall. And the dreamy wall of windows with sheer white curtains gave her portraits stunning natural light.
Another awesome part of the studio is its location. It’s easy to step outside and explore Opera Alley and the Spanish Steps by McMenamins. Capturing seniors in their hometown is so much fun. The city is vibrant, and there are so many walls and alleys with fun colors and unique backgrounds for portraits.
90s Inspired Style
I love seeing vintage pieces come back in style. Miss Daizy wore a few 90s themed outfits that were so much fun. She kicked off her session in a zebra print camisole with lace trim, which she paired with black pants. An oversized linen button-up was the perfect piece to wear over a crop top with relaxed-fit jeans, and classic Converse completed the look.
She also rocked a black dress over a long-sleeve white tee. And her Chuck Taylors weren’t the only 90-inspired shoes for the day – she also wore black doc martens with her floral crop top and skirt set. Her fresh manicure with red dipped nails complemented each outfit choice.
Poses for Senior Portraits
Daizy did not want boring senior portraits with basic poses. She has been dancing with Elite for seven years, and we used her dance experience for a few different poses. Each portrait session is unique, and I am there to coach seniors and guide them into different poses for modern, unique portraits. It is always fun working with dancers, gymnasts, and other athletes and incorporating their passion into their portraits.
