The AHP Experience
We truly believe that the experience of having your senior portraits taken is just as important as the final results. As a senior photographer, I want you to feel confident about your senior session. This means every session has the option to include professional hair and makeup and an on-set stylist.
I also offer exclusive access to the AHP Style Closet. Seniors can borrow on-trend clothing, accessories, and shoes from the Style Closet to amplify their look. Not every senior wants to invest in new outfits just for portraits, and I have you covered.

Once your session is scheduled, we can start discussing the details. This includes outfit planning, location scouting, and more. Every session is unique, and I want you to feel like your portraits represent who you are.
The Day of Your Senior Portrait Session
Your senior portrait session begins with hair and makeup. We make sure you’re pampered and relaxed before your senior portraits. Let your inner beauty and confidence shine! This is also a chance to select a few pieces from the AHP Style Closet at my studio before heading into your session.
The timeline for a senior portrait session is often two to three hours, depending on the number of locations and outfit changes. It’s a marathon, not a sprint! We take advantage of the gorgeous lighting and fun backgrounds in Tacoma to make sure your senior portraits are as unique as you are. And I am there every step of the way, directing you with natural poses. You also have the option of bringing along your HMUA for touch-ups and different looks throughout your session.
Image Viewing and Product Ordering
Once your images are ready, it is time for an Image Viewing and Premiere Ordering Session. We meet at the studio to pick out your favorite images and order products that you will treasure for years to come.
Your senior portraits should not just sit on a thumb drive, computer, or phone. They should be turned into high-quality products that you can share with your friends and family.
Portrait Delivery
Once your products come in, it is time to enjoy them. It is so much fun delivering portraits to seniors! Seeing their portraits in print, whether it’s an album or a canvas wall-hanging, is so rewarding.
