AHP Model Team Welcome Meetings
This year, we held two AHP Model Team welcome meetings for the Class of 2024! I invited the girls down to Studio253 to get a chance to meet one another and pose for some fun test shots to kick off the start of the season. With the Class of 2023 onto graduation, I am so excited to introduce you to a new batch of AH-mazing senior girls! I can’t believe we are already planning for 2024, but if these sessions were any indication of how this year will go, I hope you’re ready for a great time!
Meet the Team!
I loved meeting all the new girls and I know you all are going to love them just as much. This year’s team is so uplifting and positive. I can’t wait to get to know them more as we spend time with one another throughout the year. We also have a first for the model team! I am proud to say that we have 3 siblings of past model team girls in the Class of 2024! How crazy is that? It’s a testament to the AHP program and the relationships we build not just with the seniors, but with their families too. I’m so happy to have returning families that know and love the work we do together. I can already tell this group is going to be a ton of fun to work with!
Once an AHP Senior, Always A Part of the Family
What I love most about the model team is the community of young women we build year after year. Membership in the team doesn’t only last for the year you are a senior. Once you’re a part of the AHP family, you will always have a community behind you! During our welcome meeting, we had 6 girls from the Class of 2020 Model Team come to Studio253 and help out. Not only was their presence so fun for me (cue reminiscing on old times), but it was also a chance for the girls to mentor our new seniors and get them started on the right foot. I couldn’t have been more proud to see both groups hanging out and sharing these new memories together! That’s what it’s all about!
What the Model Team is All About
The AHP Model team is all about building confidence and community. Unlike other modeling programs in the area, our team is designed around the girls not around building my business. Senior year is full of transitions and having a group of people supporting you who are going through the same experiences can make all the difference. But even more than team building, a year on the model team is also a personal journey. One of the reasons I love taking these early portraits of the girls is to compare them to the images we take at the end of the year. Even through a portrait, you can see how much their confidence grows in just a couple of months! Giving them the boost they need to start the next big stage of their life after high school!
