Model Team ‘23 First Shoot

We outlasted (and outshined) the weather for this rainy Model Team ‘23 first shoot! Although we were hoping for some sunshine, what better way to kick off the year than with a little Washington rain storm?! It was totally PNW and totally AH-mazing! These girls were troopers in the cold and absolutely rocked their first shoot! One of the shots was even published in Senior Poise magazine! So cool! Now let’s go check this session out!!

Pretty in Purple, Puyallup Photoshoot

The inaugural shoot for the class of the 2023 AHP Model Team was a rainy wonderland! We did our first shoot at this gorgeous, purple, lupine field in Puyallup. In the pouring rain!! We tried to wait for the sun to show, but finally decided we couldn’t wait any longer. And I’m glad we didn’t because it was so fun!! Each of us brought clear umbrellas and used them in between photos to stay dry and keep the camera covered. We also used them in some photos as props! The girls decorated them with lupines too for a pop of that beautiful purple color and oh my gosh!! The pictures turned out SO good! 

Dancing in the Rain

This was the team’s first full shoot, which means we were out in the field for 2+ hours! Crazy! (You can check out their first ½ shoot here!) But we had a blast! Even in the cold and the rain, the girls brought their awesome personalities and smiling faces. How great are they?? This was also a bring your BFF shoot (which I love!), so we had lots of extra friends to make the day special! Between throwing petals, decorating each other’s hair with flower stems, and of course dancing in the rain, they made this shoot a breeze! 

Welcome Class of 2023!!

This was such a fun shoot to introduce our class of new girls to what the AHP Team is all about! One of the first lessons in photoshoots (besides having fun!) is to trust your photographer and they did just that! Even when I told them we would be posing in the rain for hours! So welcome to the class of 2023! I cannot wait to see the great friendships, photos, and fun that come from our year together! Hopefully, with a little less rain and cold, fingers crossed!
