Spring Senior Portraits in Tacoma
These spring senior portraits in Tacoma are filled with fashion inspiration and unique locations. Miss Ellie and I wandered around the UW Tacoma area, explored Union Station, and found awesome spots for her urban senior portraits.
Trusting Your Senior Portrait Photographer
It is so important to choose a senior portrait photographer that you can trust! As a senior photographer, I have years of experience. I want your session to capture you in your best light. This may mean that I have you sitting in the weeds, laying on grates, or even climbing into bike racks. I promise – it may sound crazy, but your portraits will be awesome and unique. I also work with each senior to bring their vision to life, whether they want urban portraits like Ellie, or natural portraits outside.
Outfit Inspiration for Spring Senior Portraits
Miss Ellie booked her session for mid-April and her spring style is something to aspire to! She rocked denim overalls, Doc Martens, and a short-sleeve blouse for the beginning of her session. She looked edgy and cute with fishnet stockings underneath, perfectly polished nails, and clear-rimmed glasses.
Ellie swapped out her darker blouse and belt for a lighter floral top and brown belt with red Converse. I simply love how versatile her overalls were for her outfit changes. She also wore a sweater vest over a sage green blouse and topped off her look with a stylish hat. And she borrowed a purple jacket from the AHP Style Closet.
The Benefits of a Spring Session
Spring is such an ah-mazing time for senior portraits in Tacoma. The tulips and cherry blossoms are blooming, even in the city. Miss Ellie and I found fields of flowers and grassy meadows where we soaked up the sunlight. Each season has its own unique benefits, but I simply love the spring sunshine and blossoming flowers.
Personalized Senior Portraits
This fun senior was all smiles (with the best laugh!) as we wandered through the city. She celebrated her time in color guard by bringing her outfit and flag. This ambitious senior participated in marching band and theater, all while balancing an AP course load. We also celebrated her upcoming graduation from Peninsula High School with a few cap and gown portraits.
I am so grateful to Miss Ellie for trusting me to capture a completely personalized portrait session for her. I can’t wait to see what she accomplishes at Western Washington University in the fall! She plans on majoring in English, and I know she’ll be an amazing teacher.
