Orting Senior Portraits in the Summer
These Orting senior portraits in the summer prove why it is so important to trust your photographer! Brittany was worried about the location of her session and had a few specific ideas in mind. She thought she might want a red barn, and wanted her portraits to have a rustic feel. I scouted locations and found some of the best spots in Orting for senior portraits. I am so glad she trusted me for her session.
Wandering Around
Once we parked in Orting, Brittany, her mom, and I wandered around the area. We found white-washed brick walls that let Brittany’s outfit choices shine, the cutest maroon front door for her to pose in front of, and an Adirondack chair for her to sit on! There were gardens with blooming flowers, rustic fences, and fields of golden wheat. We found some awesome spots, so don’t hesitate to trust your photographer’s eye.
Cutest Style
Brittany planned a few outfit changes, all of which were made possible with the pop-up changing tent I bring to every session! For her rustic senior portraits, she threw a denim jacket over a flowy pink dress and a floral coverup over a denim dress. She upped the glam factor with a perfect little black dress and heels. She also had one of the best casual senior portrait outfits: a black sweater, white tee, and ripped jeans. Brittany had matching accessories for each outfit and switched them up between portraits. This girl just has the best style! She is the captain of the South Elite cheer team and keeps up with all the latest trends.
An Amazing Role Model
Brittany’s role model is her mom because she works hard and values their family. You can tell she would do anything for her daughters. After spending the day with the two of them, I can see what a special relationship they have! Brittany’s mom was the best reflector holder I have ever had. She posed high and low and made sure she did everything that she could to make her daughter’s portraits amazing. It was awesome! We had a funky weather day, so we followed the light! The reflector was a must-have and Brittany’s mom was a huge help throughout this Orting senior portrait session.
A Bright Future
Brittany plans on studying nursing at Boise State University and becoming a labor and delivery nurse. She already makes a positive impact on everyone around her! Brittany kept us all smiling throughout her senior portrait session, and you can tell she is the kind of girl who goes above and beyond to do what is needed for the people she loves.
This boss babe has a bright future ahead and the best advice for incoming seniors: don’t rush high school away! She also knows how important it is to enjoy the little things. Brittany encourages seniors to go to sports events, participate in spirit days, and think about the legacy they want to leave behind. And she leads by example. I am so glad I got to capture her senior year.
