Rose Garden Senior Portrait Session
This summer rose garden senior portrait session has all the gorgeous sunlight and blooming flowers! Meghan loved dancing in the rose garden. It was so fun spending the day with her, and I am excited to feature her senior portrait session on the blog.
Professional Hair and Makeup
Kara did Meghan’s hair and makeup and spent two hours getting to know her and getting her ready for her senior session. I have an awesome team of professional hair and makeup artists who glam the girls up, help them relax, and prep them for their session. It’s a chance to chill out before the photoshoot, and it also helps the girls look and feel their best!
I want all of my seniors to feel confident and beautiful throughout their portrait session, so I also offer the option to add a stylist to your session for a small fee. Kara comes along for the session and changes up your hair and makeup looks for each outfit! This gives you a ton of variety for your portraits.
Boho Style in the Rose Garden
Meghan borrowed a few new summer dresses from the AHP Style Closet and they fit her perfectly. She looked so cute in a tan Free People dress dancing in the garden! The neutral color was perfect for the rose garden since there were so many bright blooms in a ton of different colors. Meghan swapped out the tan dress for a more casual look, and her black and white plaid top and jeans were so classic. Once we got to the beach, Meghan frolicked in the water in a short peach dress. Her outfit choices really let her shine.
If you’re wondering how we pulled off all of these outfit changes in a rose garden, I am here to let you in on a secret! I bring a pop-up changing tent and wagon to every outdoor session. The changing tent ensures total privacy, so you can swap out your outfits easily. And the wagon is an easy way to carry all your outfits and accessories.
Let Your Personality Shine
Meghan is caring and patient. I had so much fun getting to know her throughout her session and capturing all of her different faces – from her natural squinty-eyed smile to her eyes wide open for her mom smile, to her “fake” smile. This girl can rock a serious look, too. Throughout the session, Meghan’s personality shined through.
She is fantastic at dad jokes and kept me laughing throughout the session. Meghan loves to make other people happy and spends so much of her time doing just that! She has worked with the Sound Athletics Special Olympics for two full seasons, and volunteered with a special education program in her junior year. She loves helping others and is an understanding and patient teacher.
Future Plans
Meghan has a bright future ahead! She is headed to Washington State University to study Pre-Veterinarian Medicine or Pre-Law. I have no doubt she will succeed in either field. She is passionate and driven. She has an amazing mom as a role model and her biggest supporter. I can’t wait to see all that she accomplishes.
