Colorful Fall Senior Portraits
Colorful fall senior portraits are the perfect way to blend warmer fall fashion with bright seasonal foliage! In the PNW, we are blessed with all four seasons, which means our seniors get to pick which time of year they want their portraits taken. Miss Maile, a member of our Class of 2024 Senior Team, selected hers for the end of summer/beginning of fall! We were able to get lots of AH-mazing photos in various Downtown Tacoma locations, at the Rose Gardens, and Chinese Reconciliation Park. The flowers were still in bloom and the warm magic hour sunlight made every leaf shine a little brighter for our hard-working, book-loving, senior!
Late September Rose Gardens
For high school seniors who love everything summer has to offer, but still want their portraits to have the essence of fall, September offers a little bit of both. That’s why it is such a sought-after time for portraits! The summer foliage is still in bloom, while the lighting and weather allow you to wear sweaters, long sleeves, and boots to match the few leaves that have begun to change color and fall to the ground. It is also the last month that you can expect roses in bloom at the Pt. Defiance Gardens. These floral beauties add pops of color to every photo, making it a location that many senior girls request for their summer portraits!
Honoring Cultural Traditions
At every location we went, Maile had wonderfully put-together outfits full of bright colors! She listened to all of our recommendations from the style consult and made each outfit her own. As part of her session, Maile also wanted to honor her cultural roots by wearing traditional pieces from her mom. How cool is that! She wore a beautiful black and gold top paired with black pants and sling-back pumps to complete the look. Senior portraits are a reflection of the activities and interests of each girl, but also the values that each senior holds. I love it when they can incorporate elements of these things into their session, and it all comes together to create photos that will hold these memories forever! What items do you want to bring to your session?
What It Means to Be A Full-Service Studio
Senior portraits are more than just one day of photos. At AHP, we created a senior portrait experience that truly celebrates our high schoolers! Being a full-service studio, we incorporate professional H+MU, wardrobe consulting, access to our Style Closet, posing tips, top-of-the-line portraits, AND heirloom quality products for each of our client sessions. After your portraits are taken, you don’t just get digital copies. We put together an entire Gallery Premier for our seniors, where we live-design our products with you. These include albums, canvases, image boxes, signing boards, and more. Everything you might need, we provide it all in one place!
