Adventurous Gig Harbor Portraits
It was a gorgeous day in May for these adventurous Gig Harbor portraits. Miss Kaelie and I had so much fun exploring Gig Harbor, from the fields to the water. This gorgeous senior is a Class of 2021 Moses Lake Graduate, and I am so grateful that she chose me to capture her senior portraits. She even brought along her aunt and grandma, and it was so wonderful getting to know her family.
The VIP Experience
We offer a VIP Experience for our seniors, and we want every senior to feel celebrated! Each VIP Experience is an adventure that lasts five to six hours. We laugh, chat, pose, and even snack. We also offer professional hair and makeup and have incredible artists who help our seniors look and feel their best. Miss Kaelie had her hair and makeup done at Tracie’s home studio in Gig Harbor before her session!
My goal as a senior photographer is to make sure that my seniors feel comfortable, confident, and empowered throughout their sessions. Everything we do for each senior portrait session is done with intention. Seeing Miss Kaelie’s big smile and hearing her hearty laugh made me feel like we accomplished our mission! Her adventurous portraits captured her personality perfectly, and we had such an AH-mazing day.
Gig Harbor Senior Portraits
Gig Harbor has so many different places that are just perfect for adventurous portraits. There were open meadows with plenty of wild daisies, an old barn, and a gorgeous waterfront and harbor. We chased the light all around Gig Harbor and explored the lush greenery of Sehmel Park. Miss Kaelie is a swimmer, and she knew she wanted her session to be close to the water. Gig Harbor was the perfect spot! And after we finished her session, we treated ourselves to some boba tea.
Outfit Ideas for Senior Portraits
Kaelie knew we had a full day planned, and I simply love how she chose to style her outfits. This gorgeous senior has a bold pixie cut, dyed red. She started off her session with a cozy cable knit sweater, jeans, and boots. This look was perfect for walking the forest trails. Her second outfit was a beautiful orange wrap dress with nude heels. I love when my seniors wear dresses! We can have so much fun with candid shots because the dress shows movement.
Once we headed to the waterfront, Miss Kaelie changed into a white camisole and floral skirt. She went barefoot so she could dip her toes in the water. And she brought her cap and gown to wear at the end of her session. I am so glad we got to sneak in a couple of graduation portraits for her, and I can’t wait to see what this boss babe accomplishes next!
