PHS Senior Portraits
Miss Maddy, the star of our PHS Senior Portraits, is no stranger to the spotlight! She is a warrior on the basketball court, passionate about the articles she writes for the Puyallup High paper, and a quick-witted gift to the AHP Senior Team. I have loved seeing her confidence in front of the camera grow over this past year, which is easy to see in her relaxed and smiley senior photos! If you can’t tell just from looking, this girl is so much fun to shoot with, and I’m happy she decided to make AHP part of her senior year!
Exploring the Best Tacoma Portrait Locations
Maddy and I were introduced through one of my AH-mazing Class of 2024 girls, Miss Hannah. After meeting at her grad party, Maddy and I hit it off and she joined the Team! Fast forward to her senior portraits and I was so excited to create a shoot that was all about her. When the day arrived, we visited tons of spots all over the Tacoma area, including Studio253, Opera Alley, and a secret field of wildflowers where her dad and little sister met up with us! Maddy’s mom was there during the entire shoot and adding the rest of the family made it the perfect way to end the day!
Supporting Our Seniors All Year Long
Having the support of your family during your senior portraits makes the day so much better! But we like to make sure our seniors have support all year long too. When the girls join the AHP team, part of what they get is a community. Made up of their teammates, past girls, and of course, me! When they have special events, games, or performances, I love going to cheer them on. This year, I made it to Maddy’s senior night game and saw when she signed to play basketball for Chaminade University in Hawaii! While we can’t always make it to every event, it is so special being able to build these relationships, camera or no camera!
How The Senior Team Accommodates Busy Schedules
Every girl on our team is also part of a club, sports team, volunteer program, or all of the above! That’s why we created our team with active teens in mind. No one is too busy to join! One of the reasons the team starts early, during the junior year, is so that we can spread the shoots out over many months. Plus, shoots are planned 6 weeks in advance so you have ample time to plan. If you’re feeling too busy to join, but don’t want to miss out on the senior year experience of a lifetime, don’t worry! I’m here to help make it work with your schedule.
