PNW Fall Senior Portraits
Our passionate, homeschooled, superstar senior Miss Ava rocked the socks off her PNW Fall Senior Portraits! She did her session in mid-October on what happened to be one of the most perfect fall days of the season. From bookstores to PNW parks, we went all over the Tacoma area finding the ultimate locations that fit Ava’s style and hobbies spot on! This session has a ton of cute details hidden in the photos so make sure you check them all out!
Getting to Know Ava
Let’s start off by saying how happy I am that this young lady came into my life! The world is so small, and as it turns out, her mom went to the University of Nevada in Reno just like me. Such a fun coincidence! Ava and I have done tons of memorable shoots together (like these Haunted Halloween Portraits), and I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know her while talking during and after these sessions. Whether she ends up studying Law, Linguistics, or something else completely, one thing is for sure: This girl is going to go far!!
A Mid-October Senior Session in Style
Ava is well-known on our Senior Team for her sense of style. She loves to thrift and almost all of her clothes are from her favorite thrift store and donation center, Deseret Industries, in Puyallup. For her mid-October session, just like all of our sessions, she planned a mix of outfits that express her style. She rocked a plaid, A-line skirt with pearls for one look, a retro trench style leather jacket and popping red heels for another, and a selection of gorgeous dresses to top it all off! Whoever said thrifting couldn’t be fashionable clearly never met Ava!
Bookstores, PNW Parks, and More!
Because our senior loves bright colors, we knew that fall would be the best time to plan her photos. The warm fall light and leafy foliage helped add another layer of moodiness to these already fabulous portraits! For her locations, we started off at her fav bookstore in Sumner, A Good Book. The rows of classics and bestsellers were a heaven to our book loving senior, and made the best props for our sessions! The rest of the day brought us to some adorable PNW parks and the lovely, Chambers Bay. Ava was so herself, climbing trees, swimming in the river, and dancing at every spot. With her mom, grandma, and little sister by her side, we had a blast!
