Twin Senior Studio Portraits
Abby and Callie’s twin senior studio portraits were the perfect opportunity for these close siblings to make some fun memories together before they separated for college! I met Abby last year as part of the friends’ group of one of my Class of ‘22 Model Team girls. So I had the pleasure of shooting with her many times! When I found out she had an identical twin, I knew we had to plan a time to play in the studio before they each graduated. This was such a special day and I know these two sisters are in love with how their portraits turned out! What more could you ask for??
Benefits of Using Our Studio Space
Studio253 is my go-to location for many of my indoor senior shoots, modeling sessions, and even family portraits. The versatility and size of the studio allow us to make this space into whatever we need it to be. Which makes shoots that much more fun! We can be creative, try lots of different styles, and the best part of all: you don’t have to worry about the unpredictable PNW weather! Our huge studio windows bring tons of light into our space while keeping our clients dry and comfortable. For this shoot, we left the studio bare. Breaking the space into blocks of black, white, and bold pink to let the twins be the stars of the show!
Twinning Sister Session
I was so excited for this session day to arrive. The only thing better than one fabulous senior to photograph is TWO! We began with the traditional B&W look-alike photos with the girls posed face to face and close to the camera. For all their looks, we dressed them the same and kept their hair and makeup neutral. Classic twins! Throughout the shoot, we got to play with the studio fan and brought out some bold, flowy skirts from the AHP Style Closet and our chaise lounge to add bright pops of color contrast. It was a blast doing a session with siblings that are so close and tailoring the day perfectly to them! Twins are so fascinating and these photos turned out incredibly cool!
Cheering On Our Seniors
I was so happy that Abby and Callie were able to get this special time together before they left for college. Graduating high school and heading off to the unknowns of college is a huge step in our seniors’ lives. Making the transition can be overwhelming. Building a new friend group, finding new support systems, and learning how to navigate the freedoms and responsibilities that come with it. Especially when you have had your twin to lean on your whole life! While we can’t say none of this change will be scary, we can say that these experiences will also be SO much fun! And having keepsakes and photos of your family and friends can make it feel like they aren’t so far away. A reminder that you have so many people cheering you on, even from afar. And the AHP family is one of them! I have had so much fun photographing these girls, and I can’t wait for them to come back for a session and tell me all about how great their first year has been!
