Interested in Museum of Glass senior portraits for guys? I don’t often get the chance to shoot senior portraits for guys, but Bo and I had an awesome time in Tacoma for his portrait session. I am so excited to share more from his session. His twin sister, Sarah, is on the AHP Class of 2022 Model Team. I am so grateful to their family for trusting me with both Bo and Sarah’s senior portraits!
Tacoma Senior Portraits
Bo’s modern portraits are the best inspiration for senior guys who may be hesitant to book a full session. We had cool, hazy weather at the Museum of Glass for his morning portrait session. I simply love shooting portraits at the MOG. The architecture is incredible, and it lends a modern, urban vibes to the portrait session. There are classic brick walls, cool metal steps, and of course the museum itself with glass sculptures. This Harrison Prep School senior and I made the most of the morning, exploring all the different areas outside of the museum.
What Guys Should Wear for Senior Portraits
I am all about senior portraits reflecting your personal style. Bo loves WandaVision, and found a way to incorporate his interests into his outfit choices. This included a WandaVision t-shirt and hoodie for his outdoor senior portraits!
Bo also rocked a plain white t-shirt, black vest, and cross necklace for a few of his portraits. Guys can absolutely accessorize for their senior portraits! Whether it’s a favorite hat, a necklace or other jewelry, or even fun socks, there are so many ways to personalize an outfit for senior portraits. Bo alternated between white sneakers (a classic addition to any outfit) and Converse. His casual looks fit right in at the Museum of Glass.
What Else to Consider for Senior Portraits
When booking a senior portrait session, it is important to consider the season and the location. Weather in the Pacific Northwest is notoriously grey and drizzly for much of the year, but the cloudy and overcast days can be just as nice for portraits as the sunny summer days! Narrowing down your location and date will help you choose your outfits and make other necessary preparations.
