Senior Portraits with Spring Blossoms | Amanda Howse Photography
Miss Alyson knew she wanted a natural setting for her AHP Senior session, and we decided that senior portraits with spring blossoms was the way to go. This gorgeous Class of 2021 senior picked Wild Hearts Farm as part of her Le Diva session.
AHP Le Diva Session
An AHP Le Diva portrait session gives seniors exclusive access to one of two private venues, including Wild Hearts Farm. This stunning venue can only be booked by professional photographers, which cuts down on crowds and other distractions! Plus, the farm has a wide variety of locations, including a cute glasshouse, a vintage pickup truck, and a tree swing. Miss Alyson and I had so much fun exploring the grounds and bringing her nature-themed senior portraits to life.
Cherry Blossoms for Senior Portraits
Alyson is quite the artist. She is passionate about writing, drawing, and photography. We wanted to make sure her portraits showcased her many talents and interests. This awesome senior loves taking portraits of her school friends at Bellarmine Prep, particularly in front of the cherry blossoms in the campus courtyard. We turned the tables for her session in late April and took Alyson’s portraits in front of all the spring blossoms! She loves flowers, and Wild Hearts Farm has so many stunning blooms in the spring.
We incorporated her art into a few of her senior photos. She looked so happy sitting on a picnic blanket with a handful of flowers and her sketchbook. This was an awesome way to make her portrait session more personal. I love that each AHP senior portrait session represents who the senior is. Everyone should be celebrated for their interests and talents. And it is AH-mazing getting to know each senior throughout their session.
Spring Outfit Ideas for Senior Portraits
One of the perks of booking a spring senior portrait session is the versatility of outfit choices! You can layer a sweater or jacket over a dress and accessorize in different ways. Miss Alyson loves thrifting for outfits, and she styled her session beautifully. This fun senior wears a lot of skirts and dresses every day, as she likes to look dressed up – no matter what the occasion is.
She kicked things off with a celestial maxi dress, accessorized with a white jacket, hair clips, and a black choker. For a few of her senior portraits with the spring blossoms, she wore a soft pink skirt and white blouse. Strawberry earrings completed the look. And it’s easy to see why baby blue is one of her favorite colors to wear. A cozy blue sweater complemented her blue eyes and hair perfectly. I simply love how Alyson added hair accessories and earrings for each outfit. Her style is so fun!
Alyson is so friendly and fun to be around. It’s easy to see how kind she is. She plans to head to Saint Martin’s University in the fall, and I simply cannot wait to see what she accomplishes next.
