Downtown Sumner Senior Portraits
I am so excited to share these ah-mazing downtown Sumner senior portraits. Miss Madison planned out all the locations she wanted, including downtown for modern, urban vibes, and a private field for rustic portraits. Her session had so much variety and is an inspiration for any senior wanting the best of both worlds for their summer portraits!
Who to Bring to your Downtown Sumner Senior Portraits
She also brought along her three BFFs and her parents. Bringing close friends or family to your senior portrait session is always a good idea! They can act as your biggest fans, lighting assistants, wardrobe consultants, and more. And they can sneak into a couple of portraits with you, so you have photos with them that you can print, frame, and cherish forever.
Creating a Playlist for Your Senior Portraits
Madison put together a super fun playlist for her senior session. This was such a good idea! It kept Madison and her friends dancing throughout her senior portrait session. It’s hard not to smile when your favorite songs are playing and you have your besties by your side. Madison loves to sing and hang out with her friends, and I’m so glad she got to do both during her senior portrait session. Your senior portrait session should be all about you and the things you love, and a playlist is a great way to kick things off.
Cheerleader Senior Portraits
As cheer captain, Madison leads other cheerleaders and sets an awesome example for the squad. She’s kind, loving, and energetic, and those traits are so important for a leader. I simply love seeing her in her element. You can tell she sees the good in others and wants to motivate everyone around her. And she always has a smile on her face!
Madison brought along her cheer uniform, pompoms, and letter jacket. For her cheerleader senior portraits, we set up a picnic blanket (in her school colors, of course) and took photos with the golden light surrounding her. She even showed off her moves and snuck in a few jumps for portraits. It is so much fun capturing portraits for senior athletes. I just know how hard they have worked throughout their high school career, pursuing their passion. It’s awesome to celebrate that.
Late August Portraits in Sumner
It was a perfect day in late August for Miss Madison’s downtown Sumner portraits. We walked through town, exploring the cute bridges, storefronts, and even alleyways. Madison posed on steps, on the street, and in front of classic brick walls. There were so many great spots to find before we headed to the fields for more rustic portraits.
We watched a gorgeous moonrise over the mountain and stayed out to capture the lovely blue light hour. When the sun dips below the horizon, it gives us a magical hour of soft light that we did not want to miss. Madison looked right at home on the country roads, with a white fence and grassy pastures.
The AHP Model Team Experience
This session was so much fun, and I am so grateful to Madison for being part of the AHP Model Team. Joining the Model Team was a huge step outside of her comfort zone, but she was excited to take part in the cute photoshoots I host for the team each month. She also thought it would be a great way to make new friends. Madison is always laughing or smiling, and she brings her awesome sense of humor to the team.
In addition to the Model Team and ARHS Cheer, Madison is a member of the National Honor Society and her school’s choir. I am so excited to see what this boss babe accomplishes in the future. She has such a good heart and wants those around her to achieve their own goals. And she has challenged herself to live life to the fullest. I know her drive and ambition will take her far in life.
