Tacoma Winter Senior Portrait Session
As popular as summer and fall are for senior portraits, this Tacoma winter senior portrait session is all the inspiration you need for booking your session during colder months! Dalijah scheduled a studio senior portrait session for February. Having a studio in Tacoma means we can get ah-mazing senior portraits any time of year, regardless of what the weather may be.
In addition to a studio session, Dalijah also came to a shoot at Wild Hearts Farm during an awesome snowstorm in 2018. I just love these portraits! It is so much fun shooting in the snow, and Dalijah’s wintery senior portraits will be cherished for years to come.
Studio 253
Studio 253 is the best place for indoor senior portraits in Tacoma. I have a dedicated hair and makeup room, where all the pampering takes place. The girls get glammed up by my pro hair and makeup artists, which gives them an added boost of confidence and helps them relax before their sessions. You want to look and feel your best before your senior portraits! Dalijah had her hair and makeup done by the ah-mazing Kara of Inspired Radiance Beauty.
My studio also has a fully stocked wardrobe room that seniors can borrow from. The AHP Style Closet is filled with on-trend outfits, accessories, shoes, and more. Having access to the Style Closet means you have less to worry about when planning outfits for your senior portraits.
Tacoma Winter Senior Portraits at the Studio
Dalijah chose the best outfits for her winter senior portrait session. She threw a grey faux fur vest on (from the Style Closet!) over her long sleeve blouse and military green pants. So fashion-forward! A faux fur vest or jacket is such a great way to amplify your look, and if you live in the PNW then you know how important layers are.
This boss babe also showed off her school spirit with a Mount Rainier High School dance team sweatshirt. I love it when my seniors bring high school and college apparel to their sessions. This is a fun way to show your school spirit as you graduate from high school and head off to your bright future!
Having winter senior portraits in the studio also means you can go barefoot. Dalijah kicked off her shoes for some casual senior portraits, with a striped sweater and comfy black leggings. This girl has such a versatile style, and I love all the looks she picked out! She wore bold patterns and colors, complemented by her natural makeup and delicate jewelry.
Fun in the Snow
Dalijah and I had just as much fun outside in the snow as we did inside the studio! I just love Dalijah’s style, and her personality truly shined in these outdoor winter portraits. Dalijah put on her cute C.C. beanie, a cozy scarf, sweater, and boots and met me at Wild Hearts Farm. If you don’t already know, this is one of my fave venues for outdoor photos. The farm is a private venue, only accessible for professional photographers. That means there are no crowds to worry about, and the farm is beautifully maintained for portraits. There are swings, rustic fences, a vintage truck, and a camper. In 2018, they even had an igloo!
PNW winters are so gorgeous. There was plenty of snow on the ground. It’s rare for us to get this much snow, so when we do, I make sure to get portrait sessions on the books.
