Early Fall Ft. Stilly Senior Portraits
Ft. Stilly senior portraits in early fall? Count me in! Haley and I had so much fun during her mid-October session. I just love the fall colors and yummy sunlight.
Autumn Inspiration
Fort Steilacoom is the perfect spot for outdoor senior portraits. There are fields of tall grass, rustic red barns, and different spots to strike a pose and have some fun. I am so glad the weather cooperated for this autumn session. You never know with the PNW, and I am always prepared for any scenario! But we lucked out with some gorgeous sunshine and mild weather.
Haley wore fall layers and kept it casual with each of her wardrobe changes. From cozy knit sweaters and ankle boots to ripped jeans and hair scarves, Haley knew how to put together the best autumn looks. I love her timeless jewelry and laid-back style. She’s also an awesome athlete. Haley graduated in 2019, and was a catcher for her high school softball team. We infused a little athletic inspiration into a few of her portraits!
Mother-Daughter Photo Shoot
Haley brought her mom along to her Ft. Stilly senior portraits. This led to some super cute mom & daughter portraits! Both ladies rocked their Seahawks spirit wear and posed by the rustic fencing that runs along Fort Stilly.
Bringing your parents along to your session is a great way to make them feel included. This is a big moment for them too, one where they realize just how grown-up you’ve become. I always tell parents this is one of the biggest milestones for their kids, and they won’t be professionally photographed like this again until their wedding day. That’s something to keep in mind! I love seeing the friendships between the seniors I photograph and their parents. I am just so grateful to these families for trusting me to capture this exciting time.
