Senior Guy Portraits in Tacoma
Every year, I book a select few senior guy portraits in Tacoma. Zach was one of these seniors! While I don’t work with guys nearly as often as with gals, just like all my seniors, I want to make sure that our guys have senior experiences that are totally them! This summer, we did a model session for Zach with his girlfriend Abby (check out their session here!) and had so much fun exploring Opera Alley and Studio253. At the end of the day, we pivoted from the couple’s shoot and did some senior photos just for Zach!
Design Your Own Senior Experience
Senior portraits can be a lot of fun (and not as painful as you might think!). We can schedule a classic session, fully dedicated to your senior portraits, or, you can switch it up! For Zach’s portraits, he did a combination session, part couple shoot, and part senior portraits. This is a perfect way to get two sets of photos done in one day and is great for getting comfortable with a friend or significant other before your solo portraits. At AHP, we love original ideas that reflect our seniors, so we encourage you to tell us what you want out of your session. From there, we can work together and build a day that fits your portrait goals!
Dress For Success
We believe that senior portraits aren’t about putting on a show, or becoming someone new; they’re about highlighting who you are. That’s why we tailor our sessions for each senior! Confidence is key when it comes to capturing your true senior self, and no one likes wearing uncomfortable clothes or standing in awkward poses for hours. We want you to dress for success, which means outfits (and poses) that bring out your most confident self. Zach wore a plain white t-shirt, a pair of overalls, and awesome white sneakers. And he looked sharp, put together, and more importantly, totally like himself! All we ask is that your clothes are clean and wrinkle-free! Trust us, it looks way better!
Why Guys Should Get Senior Portraits
Whether your mom signed you up or you asked to have your pictures taken, senior portraits are important for many reasons. Firstly, they are practical! Most high schools require a photo for your senior yearbook and they make great profile pictures too. They can also be used as decorations around your graduation party and as gifts to share with your friends and family. But more than that, High School graduation is a once-in-a-lifetime event. You deserve to be celebrated for all your hard work and accomplishments, big and small. So when you look back on your senior portraits, you feel proud of your 4 years, and remember the fun moments, the best people, and the good feelings they brought you! That’s what good senior portraits can do. So to all our seniors, congratulations on this huge accomplishment, and good luck as you continue on your new journeys!
