Lights & Clouds Studio Portraits

Our monthly themed model team shoot really had our heads in the cloud with these lights & clouds studio portraits! While it might still be chilly outside, it was plenty warm in Studio 253 with our group of fun girls for this winter shoot. Everyone brought their cute, cozy sweaters and we had a blast trying out some new studio props!

Lights, Camera, Action

AHP recently got a new “lightsaber” that we just had to try out! This lighting accessory gave the girls such a cool background with fun colors to experiment with. Each model team girl gets copies of their photos (another team perk!) so I love to give them options to fit their aesthetic. With the addition of hanging twinkle lights, we were able to capture a variety of looks all from within the studio. How fun! The girls also wanted to play around with our style wall by Tezza. Ours is the Dream Kit, which fit perfectly with our theme.

Cloud Nine Vibes

Though this shoot started out as “lights” themed, we all quickly agreed that the girls were in the clouds this day! So we switched plans and “lights & clouds” became our new goal. Molly actually wore a sweater with clouds on it – I could die it was so perfect! And of course, it was in the pastel lavender color that is super hot right now!! We added a white, cloud-like covering to the floor to enhance the dreamy lights look. Emmalee, one of the team interns, even humored me and danced in the clouds. You could say I’m on cloud nine with how these shots turned out!

AHP Style Trends

Along with their array of AH-mazing sweaters, our models showcased some other fun styles. Emmalee’s peach-colored star skirt and white top were from the AHP Style Closet. A great perk of being a member of the Model Team is having access to our closet for any of your style needs. Ellianna’s awesome two-toned patchwork jeans were a hit too! You have to get yourself a pair because they are so cute and so trendy right now. You can snag a pair at AE! And Alli perfectly matched her super cool Nike’s with her peachy sweater. Cute, Casual, and Comfy! What a fun shoot for the memory books!
